Railing Issue

My stairs run need a railing at 36" but my landing and floor one must be at 42". How do i connect them ? To get me that kind of S shape corner handle.

Please post a sketch. But basically, you edit the path of the railing, by clicking on the rail, pick edit. then add a line segment at the top, then highlight that piece and in the options bar set it to flat. NOw you may have to make 2 sep rails as I'm not sure you can tell it to be at 42, if the other piece is at 36.
