Class Description: Roadside design is a part of infrastructure design many users do not think about. This class focuses on designing roadside facilities, such as rest areas. This class will focus on adjacent transportation type projects/structures, including rest areas, welcome centers, and picnic areas. As part of this class, we will explore the grading capabilities within AutoCAD® Civil 3D®. Within this class we will also identify how, by using the integrated hydrology tools, engineers and designers can go through an iterative design process while keeping critical project information synchronized throughout the lifecycle of the project.
