Revit Links Lost due to project file name change

Hello...I work for a multi discipline Architecture & Engineering firm, we had a large project's job folder name/title change. So all of our links between disciplines have been lost. All of our disciplines use Central models and I/m wondering if theres an easy way to reload them. I tried using the "Reload From" tool and that did not work. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Odd, Reload From is intended to let you redefine the linked file's location and file identity. It should work.

More importantly, the files that were central files in the renamed folder structure are no longer regarded as central files by Revit. They are considered local files that are failing to find their original file location/name. When a central file's folder is changed it is necessary to use Save As to create a new Central File, using the Options dialog found via the Save As dialog, check the Make this the new central file option. You can also use Open > Detach from Central > then Save the file. This is also true when a central file is renamed. The central file must be recreated, established again. All users need to create new local files from the new central(s).

Each file you need to work on with local files needs this new central file established.

I feel your pain, we developed a tool to do just that. It allows you to move a project folder and "resave" the central as well as repath the link.
Like Steve said, you will need to resave the central in theyre new location before starting to repath.
