Hi,

I am having a problem with linking Revit files that I haven't come across before. We are trying to link the Architectural model into our file but when its loaded all we can see are wireframe boxes and a few walls. I've attached a screenshot of what we see.

Would anyone know what the issue could be?

We are running Revit Architecture 2015 on Windows 7 pro
Thanks in advance

P

Any categories off in the view, via Visibility/Graphics?
Discipline of the view not set to Structural?

Worksets in the link open? Manage Links dialog > Select link > Click Manage Worksets
Any reporting closed?

In addition to Steve's tips, you might also check to see if any Arch worksets are set to not visible by default. You may need to override the VG and set them to Show. Phasing also comes to mind as a possible cause.

Thanks for the tips. I eventually figured out a solution but still do not know the cause. When I create a new view everything is turned off. If I toggle visibility graphics between host view and linked view and then back again to host view everything looks as it should. I created view templates to apply to new views and that seems to work. Frustrating workflow though.
