I got a .dwg topo from a client that was done by a civil, apparently not in an autodesk program. So, when I go to link cad file in Revit and bring it in it's all jacked up. As I was looking for the solution to the problem, I tried opening it in autocad, and I get a message that this file wasn't created in an Autodesk licensed program and it again opens all jacked up. If you look at the attachments, you can see what it should look like in the .pdf version, and how it comes in to autocad and Revit in the other attachment.
Does anyone know how to get around this? Or correct the jacked up files?
Thank You

I should have added the most important issue which is that, when imported into Revit with link cad, some of the layers are not showing up. I checked in vg and they're all on??

Looks like the triangulation mesh surface from whatever made that drawing is turned on. I think if you hide that layer you should be able to see the topo lines.
