hi guys, sorry don't be mistake, I am not expert in English to write mails,

I have an problem in revit central files working with number of linked revit models in that, actually I made it several part plans (around 8 to 9 files) files for the bedrooms and I linked all models in one combined file, but combined file is very slow in zooming, saving central file, etc.. if I unloaded some of the revit linked files, its working fine, but I am really not sure about that number of linking models will make file slow, because its major problem in MEP guys they are working one central file, linking the combined arch file, for the MEp guys are asking us file is very slow, to work,
I am taking all pre setups like, working in revit server, purging,

friends if u have any solution for this problem please let me know...

thanks in advance,

Kush

You might want to explore using groups in lieu of linked files for the bedrooms. I typically use linked files for other disciplines, the site, and separate buildings.

I'm an MEP user.
Usually its something in the file that's making it slow, not the fact there are linked files.
Are any of the architectural items in your files over detailed or imported from sketchup?
For example, on one of our current projects everything is very slow until we hide the office chairs which are coming in 'faceted' (they have a lot of small flat faces instead of a curved surface).

I've got one model with about 40 links in it. 1 structural model about 800ksf worth of footprint with 8 arch model, 8 M, 8 E, 8P and 8 Process models.
model runs just fine. Takes a while to load, but I only load what I need when I need it.
The more complex the geometry the slower revit will be.
