Has anyone used Infraworks and tried to get it exported into Revit. We are doing a civil project and my boss wants me to render the new bridge that we are putting in to go over train tracks. There flyby is nice but wants to have it rendered as well as importing it back into Infraworks. I am pretty sure you export out to civil then edit some then export that file into Revit. Is that correct? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the workflow goes that way. If you are exporting out of Infraworks your choices are Civil 3D, 3ds Max, or Navisworks.

If you can get it into civil 3d as a 3d solid or mesh, you should be able to link that cad file into revit. I don't know that you're going to get the results you want. 3ds max, Navis or maybe even something like Lumion might be a better option.

Thank you. I have someone working in Infra and my boss wanted me to render a small bridge that they are making in that. It is a great tool to make it quick but I only know revit to render it. To much to hope for I guess.
