Curtain wall assemblies

Hello,

I have created the curtain wall assemblies no problem.
However, when it comes to swapping one out for another within an elevation view I get this error message.........

Assembly cannot be changed to selected type. Some elements in the target assembly prevent the type change from occurring. These tend to be parts and nested elements such as mullion, curtain panels, and members of trusses.

Is there something I am doing wrong or is it just not possible to perform this function.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums Steve. Can you provide a screen capture of the two systems in question? Per the warning, are there any nested elements in the systems? Are you dealing with curtain walls or 'assemblies'?
