"Do this for all loading families"

When reloading a family into multiple projects, I often would like to tick the small checkbox at the bottom of the dialog box which is labelled "Do this for all loading families" so I don't have to select "Overwrite existing version" for each project, but when ticked it doesn't appear to make any difference and I still have to manually select Overwrite.

Is this a common issue or am I using this checkbox incorrectly? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi shbrooks,

The checkbox "Do this for all loaded families is only applicable to the family instances that exists in a specific project. So if you have 4 projects, you will have to enable the checkbox and overwrite the loaded families 4 times (once per project)

If this is a family/ies that gets loaded into a majority of your projects, you might want to think about including the most up to date family within your project template.
