Spell Check Symbol Keynotes

My keynote has 3 Fields, keynote number, description and a short specification.
How do I spell check a keynote? I have tried to make the notes in word & cut and paste to the keynote family. BUT it won't let me paste like I can after I place them into a plan.

What I am doing now is placing the keynote on the plan. Then I cut the note and paste it into a word processor and do my text editing (i.e. spell check). This works but my master keynote family has all of my errors that I want to correct. Some of my keynotes have a short spec attached that cannot be seen on my monitor.

Am I missing something? My spelling is awful. Anyone have a better idea?

Unfortunately, the spell checker will not check fields for keynotes.


The spell checker checks the spelling of text notes in a selection or in the current view or sheet. The spell checker does not check the spelling of other types of text, such as text in element properties
