I am tutoring someone in our office who is learning Revit and he came to me with something I have not been able to remedy easily. See image below.
The wall join command produces much less desired results than the first two in the image. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks for that. I never thought to use the join geometry after disallowing a join from a wall end. Good tip.

I am however still getting a thin line where you are showing none. Any thoughts? Linework (invisible line) won't make it go away.

Cleanup concept is simple
1 - Structure buts into each other
1a - Same material, no line. Different material, line
2- Outside of structure in order of function
2a - Same material, no line. Different material, line

Materials must be the same (see upper dwg), also try wall join tool to have these two main walls joined the way I’m showing (lower dwg). If still no luck, please upload the file so we can troubleshoot.

Also you don't need a short piece of wall at the end there. You could set the double brick wall to wrap the exterior layer at ends for the same effect.

Unfortunately, wall wrapping doesn’t work too well on the other end of the wall, where joining with other walls. It would be nice to be able to apply wrapping only on one end.

Ah yes, you're right, since the wall is set to not join.

A right-click wall wrapping option on each wall end point would be nice.
