We just recently upgraded to AutoCAD 2005 from 2002. I am using Windows XP Pro. In several drawings, not all, when I use the filter command I get a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" message box. It identifies a runtime error in "Program:C:/Program Files/AutoCAD 2005/Acad.exe". It says the application requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. AutoCAD then exits. What is wrong?

Have you audited the drawings in question?

Hi
Have a browse of the following results obtained via an Autodesk Discussion Groups "All AutoCAD Groups" search -
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" AND Filter (http://discussion.autodesk.com/search!execute.jspa?numResults=25&source=forumlist%7C8&q=%22Microsoft+Visual+C%2B%2B+Runtime+Library%22+AND+Filter&objID=c8&search=Search) - 3 results returned.
Have a good one, Mike
