It looks like autodesk is finally putting some effort behind selling Revit. The Massing tool features makes revit a ton easier to use and teach, and I think puts Revit over the top any Autocad features. That seems to be their marketing approach, sell the massing
It is weird in that it looks like Revit and AutoCad are the same thing, but it is a smart move on their part to really get Revit on the map. If it works it could get a lot more crowded around here.

This is very good news indeed!
Seems like Autodesk finally is serious about Revit.
Í´m on my way to dig my own grave, and have convinced several contacts to buy Revit.
Will nr 2 be possible to start working in Revit within the next 3 months?
1 will need it for electrical fictures.,
2 will need it for site development.
3 will need it for plumbing.
This seem to be the place to find fellow trouble seekers ;)
So can I trust Revit to be what Archicad never was?
And why is shift/Ctrl/click not possible on views?

Thats because you're looking at a Revit Series brochure.
The Autodesk® AutoCAD® Revit® Series 8 is a bundle of two products: Autodesk® Revit® Building 8 and AutoCAD® 2006 on two separate CDs, with a single serial number and a single activation code permitting use of both products on a nonconcurrent basis.

This is a very important time for Revit developers I think.
For me too :)
I´m recommending Revit to all my contacts, self interest I suppose.
Still 7700 USD for the local ver, + 1000 USD a year fee, is a bit over the top.
Perhaps I´m better off buying 2 new US licenses, and make our own local library.
I need to train my 2 partners, but as crazy as it sounds I feel I can do it.
Still there is a lot to be learned from Archicad, even if it´s buggy as hell.
Perhaps they´ll pull the rabbit out of the hat!
I don´t know, but I sure feel things are changing in my direction.
