Coping Column to Other Floor

Friends.
hope all of you are fine. and enjoy your life.
i have problem to copy a column from ground to first floor.
after past the column it shape has been change in ground floor.
i.e from circular column to rectangular.(just in ground floor).
i dont know where is a problem. by the way i am using Revit architecture 2010.

Make sure the upper column is constrained within the upper level boundaries in the properties. It looks like the upper column’s base geometry is at the lower level, got stretched in the process burring the lower column.
Can you upload the family if you still have a problem?
