Dot line pattern - ends

Hello,

I've created a line pattern that is just dots at a certain spacing, but the spacing will not work as the line ends have long dashes when drawn, I'm assuming so they can fillet continuously. The problem is that these long dashes are influencing where the dots land, so there is no way to have them appear properly along the length of the line, as I'm having the spacing represent a hidden support in my detail. I just want the dot pattern to start where the line starts and end where it ends.

Is there any way to turn this property off for the line pattern or style?

From your posted image, it looks like there could have been one more dot and long space drawn in. The start and finish segments would likely still be longer than the dots (which Revit draws as short dashes), but not as glaring as shown here. Your line pattern definition does have just one short dash segment and one long space, right?
