View Range visibility Problems

So I know View Range comes up a lot, I couldn't find anything on this particular issue.

I have Duct work drawn at 9'. In my view range I have my bottom at 0' and top at 10'. When I have the cut plane set at 9' the duct work shows up great but the doors do not show up unless I drop the cut plane to 6' but then the duct work disappears.

Any incite on how to get around this?

Create reflected ceiling plan.

Change the view's Discipline to Mechanical or Coordination.
