Hello, this is my first post to the community, though I have long used this website to assist with problems I run into. I am having trouble finding a solution.

I am using Revit 2014 to re-creating a 2 two story building. Most of the walls on the first and second story are the same detail. In 3d view the entire second story is shaded grey, no matter what the object is, walls etc. I have posted two images, the first shows the building itself in 3d. I am to include this in an upcoming presentation, and it would be preferable that the 3d view looks correct.

The second is a close up of some tests, that may help indicate what my issue is. There are 2 two sets of walls here, the two left-most are both a wall with a brick veneer, the right-most are both a glass pane. The left-most of each grouping was made on level 2, extending down to the bottom. The right-most in each pair were created on level 1, and extended up. I assume the issue has to to with my level 2 view properties, I'm not quite sure if I messed something up. Previously I had been trying to get an underlay on the second floor, and was looking through VG/graphic display/view range properties of level 2. I have no filters turned on in the VG filter tab.

Since it seems to be everything on the second floor, my first guess would be Phasing.
Is the Second Floor View set to Existing?

But then that closeup shows a stipple pattern on the closest wall. That makes me think that it's just a different Wall Type

The stipled wall is a different wall type itself, but to the left and right are a wall with brick veneer (Same as the red shaded below). Everything on the second level has that grey shade. Where would I check to see if the second floor is set to existing or check for a phasing issue?

Try a few different views of the same wall. I have problems with a brick wall showing the bond pattern in one view and solid grey in other views. We believe the problem is with the video card and how it renders patterns. If you have more than one machine and they have different cards, try viewing with the other video. If the results are inconsistent, it's probably the video.

Autodesk is always updating the approved video recommendations. If you have R2014 and R2015 in the same office, you are guaranteed video problems because the recommended videos for 2014 and 2015 are different. When I run R2014 everything is OK. When I run R2015 on the same machine, I get warnings about video and drivers

Also, if the views are wrong onscreen but plot correctly, it's probably the video.

I'll see if I can't get a plot to test that. I didn't think to check other views. Looking at my elevation views the colors are correct and so are the textures. There is one wall in my elevations that is still a shade of grey, when it should be red brick, but it's on the 1st floor, and is correct in 3d rendering. I am also only using revit 2014 on a surface pro 3 i5, if it is a graphics issue is there a way I can check this?

Correction to my previous post, the elevation views show correct shading/textures on every wall. It is only the 3d rendering that is off.
