We have a project to replace several police stations in a large town in NY State. We are trying to use the same design, but because they are mirrored, they really are separate modeling efforts. The top floor has a small stair out onto the roof. We are using a precast stair assembly and a simple pipe railing. I created the railing in one building and got pretty much what I wanted. Then I copied the stair and railing to the clipboard and pasted it into the other project. I got the basic geometry after pasting, but did lose some of the finer settings. I massaged it back to what I wanted,

except............

I cannot get the top rail to fillet. I keep getting "cannot create continuous rail geometry". I have tried everything including replacing the path in sketch mode. It worked in one place, but not in the other. Note in the clips how one top rail is rounded and one is mitered. What else can I try?

Tab into top rail and make sure default join is set to fillet and radius is applied.
Can you upload your rail if still no avail.
