Hi, is there any way to assign a Shared parameter (added into the project parameters) to a sub-category family...??!!
Here is the story..
I was trying to tag a shared parameter inside the family which is my Racks Elevations, but it dose not read the parameter :cry:
then I added the parameter as a project parameter.. First I can not add formula to it Second it is added to my whole electrical fixture category which I don't like..but it worked for the tagging purpose. I tried to create sub-category to my electrical fixtures but in project parameter dialogue box I don't see the sub-category to add my parameter to it.
Any Idea on this................

Are you trying to put tags inside of your family?

If so, I would suggest adding a symbol family with a label that reads the parameter you want. Then you would need to associate a new parameter to the label inside of your rack family and set it to be equal to the parameter your are trying to read.
