Hello All,

Used to be an avid ACAD user until 2005, now at a new company that requires ACAD as the file output. We use a 11X17 templete, and a client is requesting 24X36 pdf files? I have tried but unable to get a decent print out on the 24x36 pdf file.

Can anyone assist?

What do you mean exactly by "We use a 11X17 templete" and "unable to get a decent print out on the 24x36 pdf file"??

Run the PAGESETUP command, choose DWG to PDF.PC3 as your output device, select ANSI D as the paper size, choose your plot style table, etc. and you're done.
It's helpful if you have all the "display" options checked on in Options>Display>Layout Elements so you can see the "paper" relative to the size and location of your viewport(s).

I think Mr. McSwain meant for you to select "ARCH D" as your paper size (if you want 24x36).

ANSI D is 22x34 which would be 2x the size of the 11x17, but I'm sure you knew that :p

Question I have is are you creating bigger drawings with the same scales you had at 11x17 or are you scaling everything up just to fit the bigger page, so they won't be accurate scales?
Just curious..

Yes. Thank you for catching that.
