Upside down contour labels

Several of the contour label strings on my site plan are displayed with the text upside down. I haven't a clue what I'm doing wrong.

You aren't doing anything wrong. Contour labels display as though viewed walking up a slope ( don't ask )

Ouch. That is so very painful.

We encountered the same problem and it was maddening until we finally figured out that if you plot directly to the plotter from autocad it will always rotate the contour label upside down, but if you plot from a dwf of the drawing it will print the contours as they appear in the view.
