Can´t create a Linked File from a group

Hi, I have problems creating a linked file from a group. I need to separate a buiding in different floors models in order to people can work in those leveles wothout loading the entire building. I created worsets and then grouped each level and aplied the link command but nothing happened. The link file was not created as a project file and the group was no changed for a link, still remains the group.

Any idea of what coul be happening?
