variable roof thickness

I created a roof type with variable rigid insulation thickness. The thermal layer is 2" rigid insulation. The 4 outside corner points are left at 0 0 and the center point is at +0 2". The roof section starts to slope, then remains flat. It falls short of the +0 2" high point. It seems something is preventing it from reaching the high point. What's happening here?

Can you post a plan view of the roof showing where the section line is cutting ?
