I am wondering if there is a way to save a 3D view with hidden lines and ambient shadows for example, and only have a certain element of the view rendered in color. I design interior components and would like to render them into scenes, however I only want to highlight the component itself. Is there a way to achieve this?
Thanks!

Shaded/realistic and hidden lines views can be imposed over each other on the sheet in Revit, or use Photoshop.

Yes, in fact you can even set your animation to do this. However, there is a trick as this animation was done using three identical cameras. Again, just to emphasize, three IDENTICAL cameras meaning once you had your loop/path set, you cannot ever, ever, ever change it. From there its just a matter of turning on and off the "actors" at certain pre-determined intervals.

Hard to believe this was done in Revit 2009!
