Thin Lines? Light Lines? What's it all about?

The built in Revit line weights are Thin, Medium, and Thick. However the detail component families line weights are Light, Medium, and Heavy. Is there some logic behind this that I am unaware of? Or is this just sloppy work on the part of the Factory?

Part of the reason I am asking is that the different naming conventions really complicate my DWG export settings.

It may be to differentiate between the types of lines ? but I doubt that it could be considered "sloppy" there's usually some reasoning behind it.

It would be great if someone could elucidate the reasoning behind the change in line types. On the surface it certainly appears like needless complexity.
