As I write this the latest update is 2015.0.15 Security Fix. See Autodesk's Autodesk Revit 2015 Product Updates (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-revit-2015-product-updates.html) for more information.
Have you tried out the Autodesk desktop app (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/About-Autodesk-desktop-app.html)? Is it helping you keep track of updates?
If you need to know what your current build (version) is, take a look at How to tie the Build number with the Revit update (http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-tie-the-Build-number-with-the-Revit-update.html) (thanks dkoch (http://forums.augi.com/member.php?49378-dkoch))

Done.
If anyone would care to make a thread for 2016 I can stick that one too.
Steve can overrule me later. ;)

I just had a problem updating a machine with Revit 2015. It sat stubbornly at some earlier build number and would not install R2 update 8. I uninstalled Revit 2015 and went through 2015: How to Complete a Clean Install and Uninstall of Revit products (http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/2015-How-to-Complete-a-Clean-Install-and-Uninstall-of-Revit-products.html), but it still didn't work. So I installed UR2 Update 4, and then R2 Update 8 - voilá it worked. Hope that helps someone.

How do I know if R2 is installed? I have the full functioning Revit 2015 (all disciplines) from Building Design Suite, so does R2 even apply to me? We also have 5 other seats of Revit Architecture so how do I know if R2 is installed on those machines?

You would have had to have downloaded the installation file for R2 from the Subscription Center (or, now, Autodesk Account - Product Enhancements). So far as I know, the R2 version was only released as the Revit ("One Box" - all disciplines) program and was not made available for Revit Architecture, Revit Structure or Revit MEP.
You can check the current build you are using by selecting About Autodesk Revit 2015 from the Help pulldown in the Info Center (upper right corner of the Revit window). You can compare what shows there to the list in this Autodesk Knowledge Network article (http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-tie-the-Build-number-with-the-Revit-update.html).

It was/is also released for Revit Architecture, as shown in my original post. I assumed it's there for the other disciplines, but I could only find Revit Structure R2 update 7 (http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-revit-structure-2015-update-release-7-for-revit-structure-2015-r2.html) but not 8. Haven't looked for MEP.

My gosh, update NINE??? Was 2015 that bad that this many updates has been needed? I can barely even keep up with them all, and I only have 7 machines in the office that need the updates.
Any why are they still putting out updates when 2016 has been out for over 4 months now?

Many of these updates were due to the introduction of C4R (A360).
Also from my understanding this is going to be the "new normal" for updates. No more large updates that take forever to download and never get installed in time.
They want to do smaller, quicker updates sim to what they were originally doing when they would still kick out hot fixes.

So now, in order to be signed into A360 in Revit, your workset user name MUST be the same as your A360 email address??? What the heck kind of BS is that?! I don't want a bunch of email addresses as our workset user names. This is insanity. Most of my users don't have Autodesk/A360 accounts anyway, and I would prefer that our workset names all have the same naming convention (not some workset names as email addresses and some of them not).

What??????
Workset or Session User Name (under the options)?
Under General > Username, I have my standard username that is used with worksets and for naming local files. If I sign into A360 it wants to change that username to my A360 name. If I do it with a model open, it will not sign in.
Insanity.

Ok, I think I get it.
I know that when you sign in to Adesk it changes your username.
That's a "feature" so if you're using C4R it knows who you are.
My issue is what happens when I want to log in from 2 computers?
I'm still not sure I understand the workflow/relationship of Username, workset and local file name. I know the local file name is always tied to the user name. But how is this affecting your worksets. Do you have kind of script running or is it just the who gets listed as the borrower of elements?

Well I personally use 2 different workset/user names, one at work and one at home when I work remotely. That way anyone who may look at a file while I'm at home will know that I'm working in it at that time, but from home. I like to keep my 3D views separate, as well as local files, and also when looking at worksharing save history it will show up with my other username for those saves that were from home.

I don't think this thread should be sticky any more.
