how do I unsplit the schedule?

I there a way to redo the schedule layout on the sheet. Basically I do not like the way it's split.

You can drag the separated schedule pieces on top of one another and they will reconnect. If it's split into more than two pieces you'll need to reconnect them in the correct order.

Do you mean you don't like the way it's split, or the fact that it's split at all?
Dimitri's method is correct to combine it into one.
But if you just don't like how many rows are in each half, you can drag the grip at the bottom of the first half up or down.
