Hi all,

Struggling to find a solution after a lot of searching. I've been given a .csv file to create a topo. unfortunately i'm having trouble getting a decent result from the data i have. i'm no expert when it comes to topo from .csv so it's possible i'm missing something or doing it wrong. I've not ruled out the .csv being funky either.

i've tried stripping out columns etc but the best result i've had doesn't seem right! this should give 1 square tile from OS.

Any help would be appreciated :)

cheers
Jon

Revit just wants a .txt file formatted like this (X,Y,Z values).

250,135,75
260,140,75
270,145,75
260,125,80
270,130,80
280,135,80

Believe it or not, when I couldn't get Revit to read the civil file directly, I did it this way: The spots were a block which had an x,y coordinate, and the z was text in the block. So I made a selection set of the spot block, turned on the Acad log and listed all the spots. The dialog went into the log file. A little bit of editing (OK....a lot of editing) and I had an x,y,z file ready to go!
