I'm trying to figure out how a roof like this can be done in Revit.

When I try to recreate it, this is what happens:

Is there a trick I don't know about that could make this type of roof?

You might get some other responses, but I would most likely make it two roofs (one at each eave height). You can join them after they're created to look like one roof.

I've tried the two roofs route, but it won't give the seamless join that shown in the original.
Plus there's an extra corner on the right side, which is not in the original.

I did it! I was able to do this by creating 3 roofs, and using Opening by Face command to "cut away" the parts of the roof I don't need. Then joined all 3 roofs.
