Hi! What are the major differences between Revit and Revit LT? Can a project done with Revit be opened in LT and can a project done in LT be opened in Revit (if done with the same version year)?
Thanks!
Rob

File formats are compatible both ways.
Primary difference is in LT no worksharing (single user access), no conceptual modeling tools, no adaptive components, in-place families limited to walls, rendering on line only...
There are other limitations/differences that an be found here.

Dimitri listed the most significant ones, but I recently came across another that has hampered my life in a minor way: cannot create structural truss families within a project. What's interesting, is you can open and edit a structural truss family in the family editor and load it into a project, but you cannot create an instance of the family within the project (it's grayed out when you right-click on the family type). ~shrug~
