Hi there,
I'm having issues with binding a linked model and phasing.

The host has phases Existing, Demo and Construction. The linked file has phases Existing Showroom, Demo Showroom and Construction Showroom. I have done the phase mapping exercise in the host file, then clicked on the link and hit the bind button.

The link binds ok and becomes a group as expected, but all the geometry from the linked file has now taken on the Construction phase, so none of the walls doors etc that were on a existing or demo phases in the original linked file, are manageable with view graphic phase filters in views.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks, Blair

A file fetched with Bind will take the Phase of the View in which you Bind it. Sorry about that. Take a look at this post which came a few days after yours: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?162573-Binding-Linked-Model-with-Phase-Settings

I have to say I do not like the sound of that solution. I'm not a fan of using Transfer Project Standard without extreme caution. I can be the death of office BIM standards.
