I have created a new Revit Schedule that allows me to generate area and height calculations from table 503 in the IBC. It bases everything off of an gross building area plan that you create and can use different areas as different buildings. The only problem I'm running into so far is getting it to report back the UL or NP for the area or height. It always comes back inconsistent units. I know this is because they are looking for numbers and are area calculations and height calculations. Does anyone know of a work around for this though?

Any help would be appreciated.

UL and NP are based on Construction Type, so Area Plans in Revit cannot ( as far as I know ) include this.

Create a calculated value parameter set to number and make the formula: area/1 or height/1. This will make it a number, then you can use the converted number parameter in formulas.
