Course Description: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are continually evolving in response to the ever increasing demand for location based information. Today, GIS is pushing the boundary to graduate from 2D to 3D space. This class will demonstrate how to build an affordable 3D Virtual Reality GIS system by combining Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise and VRML/Unity 3D/Google Earth™ Street View.
