Title: Preserving AutoCAD® Revit® BIM Information in Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design

Course Description: This course will cover preserving AutoCAD Revit BIM information in Autodesk 3ds Max Design utilizing Autodesk FBX® and a Layer strategy for constructing the Autodesk 3ds Max Design scene from the original Revit-based models. We will also explore the application and editing of imported materials, and showing them in the Autodesk 3ds Max Design viewports. We will also investigate IES Lighting, and Container technology to "offload" unnecessary lighting in preparation for rendering scenes.
