No, but you can use invisible lines (or whatever line weight or line style you want) when creating the filled region.

Where does this happen?
From Settings, in the "new" dialog for filled regions, I see no linetype option, only pattern options...
From "duplicate" in the properties dialog, I only see model line styles 1 through 15...

In the line type dialog, I could not "make" an invisible line either...

It is the linetype you choose when you are sketching the perimeter.
