Title: Using Revit® as the Basis of a Collaborative Capstone Project
Instructor: Eric Dunn
Course Description: Bringing together five disciplines (architecture, civil engineering, construction management, HVAC, and interior design) to conceive, design and analyze a 100,000-square foot net-zero museum can be a daunting task for anyone, especially students. This workshop shows how Revit was utilized as a basis for collaboration in a higher education setting to help students understand the movement toward Integrated Project Design (IPD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Topics include central files, estimating, energy analysis, HVAC loads, and importing/exporting.
