In Map 2004--Raster Design 2004-- Inserting JPEG file form Terra Server, raster design not correlating/recognizing world file (jpw/jpgw) linked to jpeg file

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check out this knowledge base document and see if it helps.

Scale or location of inserted raster images is not accurate (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?id=2866135&linkID=2786831&siteID=123112)

Only other things I can thank of:

Make sure the world file is located in the same directory as the image file.
or
That the world file is in the same coordinate system that you are working in.

Yes--the prefix file names are the same for the image file and jpeg file and also located in the same file.

I have assigned global coordinate system based on the image info from terra server--

In a previous version of Map/Raster (version unknown) I was able to acomplish this.

Thanks

Two things to look at:
1. Open the .jgw with Note Pad the contents should look something like this-
2.00000000000000
0.00000000000000
0.00000000000000
-2.00000000000000
7078958.15791600010000
2009929.98912000000000
2. In the "Insert Image" dialog window, check the Modify Correlation box. This will bring up the "Image Correlation" window. Pick your correlation source and make sure the X,Y values are something other than 0.0.

3. Either of these do not work you may have a bad .jgw, it happens.

Good luck!

Hey Glenn,

Could you please verify the link you posted. I'm interested in reading the article, but the link sends me to the city of Lawton, OK.

Thanks
