Interior elevations find room extents

We have aproject where many of the rooms have moved. Of course the rooms that have moved have sets of interior elevations associated with them. Does any one know if there is a way to get the elevations to automatically adjust to the room extents after an elevation is created. when we initially created the elevations the elevation views found the extents of the room more or less automatically. However, once the elevation is moved it is no longer it can't figure it out. Is there a secret function that I am missing to make the extents automatically adjust?

Don't think you're missing anything, but that would be a sweet feature request. The ability to lock an elevation line say 2' off a wall and lock the ends of the line to the adjacent walls.

That is what I was afraid of. I thought maybe I could do something in Dynamo but it is a little beyond my Dynamo knowledge at this point.
