I'm trying to model a vertical cable guardrail that would be anchored at each tread and extend up to the ceiling. A railing family with balusters per tread gets me started and I could use a dummy top rail to extend the railing to the height I need but trying to flatten the top rail has me stumped. Any way to get a railing to start on the treads and have a flat top like I'm envisioning?

Hi all, the solution is to use the railing and modify it with the height correction to custom and give the ceiling height.
Thanks in advance, Alex

The Landing Height Adjustment? Is that what you're referring to?

Hi all, the solution is in the edition of the handrail line sketch, select the line and at the status bar, look for Height Correction and select Custom and type the ceiling height of your project. I don't know what happens in my account that I can't upload any picture, because I have display pictures of all the procedure.
Hope this will help you, Thanks, Alex

This is perfect. Thanks. It's in here that I can select a flat top for the railings as well.
