Imported family from Linked revit file not showing up.

We have a Revit model from an electrical contractor, in their model they have the generator as an imported family (.dwg). By default this imported family does not show up in our model. I can go to custom view setting for the linked model and turn on the generator imported family for a particular view.

I'm wondering if I can set it so that it is by default on in all views?
