Maybe i'm missing something here. I'm trying to create a curved ramp which drops 36". (See Attached)
I've tried using a floor, but the top/bottom tends to slope side to side. Plus, i can't add a Floor Edge to a curved section.
so... A figured a ramp was the way to go. But i can't see to get a curved ramp to work.
Any thoughs?
P.S. I also need to add a 18" high landscape wall along the edges. :?

Shooo. what a problem. Paul I tried everything, to solve your issue. the very long work around I came up with is to construct the two curved walls, then using ref planes in elevation attached there top to the required slope/angle. Then using the Ruled curtain wall under modeling select the inside edges of the curved walls. then dived the curtain wall panel to smooth out the curve. select the system panel under families and change the material and thicknes .In plan view using the line work tool change the divisions to invisible lines. then construct another wall ontop and using attach top/bottom get the required height of the landscape walls. the other way is to create a spiral stair using a huge amount of risers in order to give like 5mm tread heights, and once again in plan. turn the treads to invisible lines. I have the file complete, problem is it's 3MB if you want I can Email it to you to have a look. Jeez I hope this problem gets look at, because it should as simple as creating a curved ramp.

Paul,
Have you checked out this thread ? (www.zoogdesign.com/forums/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1354&highlight=ramp)
Once you've constructed the ramp, build the side walls and use a void to cut them to the ramp profile.

Sad thing is - you have to do the exact same thing in ADT. Revit should score better than that. ;-)

Thanks guys.
Maybe I should just use topo for now and wait for Curved Ramps in 6.0 next month.
Seeing how i'm only 50hours into a 13,500 SF 1 Bdrm estate. I think i have the time. :?

The sad thing is I used Ruled Curtain Wall system, to get a result. Beegee took me to a thread on how Scott Brown tells us how to do it, using a railing style, for &%$£"* sakes (no offence Scott). ADT seems to have the same workarounds. IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO GIVE US A SIMPLE CURVED RAMP TOOL. 80% of the offices I have done has a disability ramp that curves in some or other manner, and I have always had to re-invent the wheel to get there.

I think there is something inherently wrong with a program that calls for 13,500 SF and only 1 bedroom. Maybe make the pantry real big in case someone wants to "spend over"?

Attached is a PDF step by step. I have not read it much less tried it yet, so let me know if it works.

Well, there is an option to tranform one of the three garages into a couple of bedrooms (down the road).
I liked it better when it was only a 13.5k SF 1 BR Rambler.
Thanks Jim, I'll let ya know. I'm gonna to try it now.

Consider it yanked. I am going to put it on my "Bonus Materials" CD for my New CAD on the Block class... Objections?

Objections? Hmmm....any more openings for the get together on Monday night at AU? I need a ticket and so does Hunter Marston...

I'll give you my ID after I get my stamp...hang out by the elevator and look suspicious. I'll find you when I need to "use" the facilities...
Caramba! Just realized Jim will see this and our goose will be cooked!...okay, scratch that...better hope Jim has some reserved tickets. Any solid promoter would have a few in his pocket for special guests!

OK. Hopefully this is the right place to post this.
Here's a parametric Curved Ramp with the start / end points at 90 degrees (based from Michelangelo Togni's ramp, thanks!! )
Hope this Helps!
