Is there an easy way to create a reference plane/line or a non-printing detail line that is one model view specific, ie only shows up in one view. I'd like not to have to manually hide it or have it "disappear" in the view. I tried making the line white, but that makes it very difficult to find it as it doesn't show up when you mouse over it. Other than using a reference plane and then adjusting it or hiding it in all the other views, very time consuming, the only other idea I have is to create a very light grey line that barely shows when plotting. Am I missing something?

I was just thinking about this this afternoon. It would be nice to have drafting reference planes that are view specific.

Of course you can use a drafting line intead of a model line to ease the visibility problems.

That's what I've ended up doing - Created a new line style called "non-printing". I tend to have have 2 views, say per floor plan, one for working on to develop the model, and one ultimately for printing. Then the printing view can have this line style turned off.

It would be much easier to have a view specific reference drafting lines or planes.
