Spliting Elements

It would be very helpful if I could be directed on how to omit or eliminate the split line the shows up after splitting a wall. It is necessary that the wall be split because it allows me to base offset the walls in the garage to go down to the foundation wall. Where as on the house the walls go till it hits the floor. However that does not mean i want to see that line when looking at a floor plan.

Linework Tool. Invisible Lines. Click twice to hide lines on end of each "wall end". A bit tedious if you have lots of split walls, but it works.

...or select a wall, grab the blue grip, pull it back and move back to the original spot (without releasing) – the line will disappear. Tedious either way.

If you have a lot of splitting, create a new view (duplicate), make all splitting there. The split lines will not be visible in the original view, nor any other view for that matter. Delete the duplicate view when done splitting.
