View Full Version : 2015 Wall graphic anomaly only in certain views?

This is an issue I remember seeing with walls way back when, like 10 years ago. If the wall has a Base Extension Distance set below the wall's base level, the walls end up not joining properly in plan view. But in this case, it looks fine in my floor plan with dimensions, but looks wrong on my noted plan.
Why is it still doing this 10 years later, and why is it only in some views and not others? My ceiling plan and finish floor plan all look fine, as well. Seems like it's only the Noted floor plan doing this.

Are View Ranges set exactly the same in both views?
Any Plan Regions being used?
How was annotation view created --as dependent? or duplicate w/ detailing?, etc.

View Range did it. My noted plan was set with the view range bottom and depth at 6 inches below floor level because I had some recessed shower floor drains that weren't showing up otherwise. I'm not using those floor drains anymore, so I can change it back to 0 for the bottom/depth.
Still doesn't explain why that would be happening, though. A long-standing bug, I guess.

In that case, I'd use a Plan Region--should allow wall joins and show your drains. Odd wall join probably has to do with offset from level on wall in combination with View Range.
