I am working in Revit Architecture 2015. I have my building modeled and am creating building sections. I create the section and notice that objects (walls, ceilings, casework, etc.) that are beyond the wall faces are visible. It looks as if the wall surface that is parallel to the section cut does not block the view to what is beyond. The intervening walls are not hidden or set to transparent. The far clip is set to a specific distance that is beyond this wall face, however the wall face is not blocking line of sight. Far clipping is set to clip with line. Detail level is set to medium and visual style is set to hidden line.

I have tried to cut new sections, I have tried redrawing the walls but I can not seem to figure this out.

Anyone run into this issue before?Section Issue.pdf (http://forums.augi.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=102083&d=1443126393)

Sounds like you might have a DWG file linked in and visible in the view that has very large extents. Try turning off the visibility of all the DWG files you have linked and see if it behaves.

Thanks Steve that worked! Had a civil file linked to my model and it's extents were very large indeed. As soon as I changed the status of the CAD file everything looked fine.
