I've been using Revit 2013 for awhile, but never Macros.

I have about 10 3D views I exports frequently into NWC for our NWF model update. It's tedious work to go to each view and export them individually everyday.

I was hoping there was a simple code I could implement to automate this process and was hoping to receive feedback from the forum. I don't have a coding background so the basics are needed.

Basic workflow includes: Selecting 3D view > Export > NWC > specify file location on server (individual file for each 3D view) > executing the command. Then on to the next view and so on.

The code will be consistent, I would just need to specify which 3D view went to each NWC file.

Any help or code samples would be extremely helpful!

Thanks

Im confused about why you export 10 views from the same model to NW to get started with.

I don't think i can help with 2013 but Dynamo could i think... if it's really needed. Now you got me curious :)

I'm working on a large commercial building and have a multi-floor Revit architectural model. For MEP coordination, we broke the floors out into quadrants. So for the one Revit file, I have 10 views I need to separately export for the NWF model. When we make contractual changes to the model, it usually involves the entire building. Therefore, I would like to able to run this process once finished to ensure all the quadrants are up to date.

Maybe I'm too much of a newbie in Navis, but I found it MUCH easier to figure out clashes when I exported each model as several NWC files split up by floor.
I know you can use the Scope Box in Navis visually, but being able to run the Clashes on, say just the 3rd floor kept things manageable for me.
And, no I can't use a filter for that. Vertical Duct runs and columns often are identified as belonging to one level when the actually cross several.
