Perhaps this is a very basic Revit Architecture/room creation question, however I am an MEP engineer modelling a building within Revit for the purposes of services design and I have encountered an issue with an odd-shaped room.

Refer below for the correct room shape in section

In order to achieve the correct shape and volume for the room, the room had to be created at the first floor level and the base constraint lowered to include the space below. The problem with this being that the room now reports that it exists at the first floor level and this cannot be changed in properties.

When the room is created at the ground floor level and the top offset is increased the room does not include the correct volume, as below;

My question is how could I create this room at the ground floor level (so it schedules correctly) whilst also including the volume above Room 19 - Technical Room Store? Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Regards

Lee
