Summary: Annotative scale blocks with text always horizontal at insertion.
Description: People keep telling me this is possible and have even put the issue to rest. Not true I have it straight from Autodesk. You can have one but not both. Try it, it does not work. you either get a block which scales but the text locks to whatever angle you insert it OR you get a non scaling block where the text is always horizontal at insertion. I need and want both. Example a simple power outlet for an architectural power plan. You want to insert it typically at 1/8" scale but when you have a complex plan like in medical you want to insert it at 1/4" or even 1/2" Scalable blocks allow you to insert many more blocks. But now comes all that labeling you want all the attributes of the block to always read horizontal no matter the insertion angle. Simple right? No not possible. I'll be happy to send you an example of both instances. You would think that changing a simple setting on either block would fix it but that is not the case. Now that if you prove me wrong and you are in SoCal I'll be happy to buy you a tall cup of coffee.
