I've tried finding out how to do this elsewhere and I'm either coming up short or making an error in what I'm doing.
I have a Revit 2015 project that I need to export to IFC. The model has a set of custom shared parameters that are associated with the model such as Manufacturer, product etc the intention is that these will form an easy to read FM document in when exported as an IFC model and opened in the likes of Tekla.
However the issue I am having is that I cannot figure out how to extract just this shared parameter information in the IFC format so when the model is exported as IFC and opened in Tekla and an object seletected I am presented with a huge list of properties that are irrelevant and none of the ones I need.
If anyone can give me a step by step on how to extract just the shared parameter information I need or link me to a guide it would be greatly appreciated.
I am using the IFC export alternate UI in Revit 2015.
