Extend the wall all the way to the edge of the roof and cut it with a void extrusion, or edit wall profile. If you have a lot of walls to cut, create a GM wall based void family.

"Some void forms of this family do not cut anything and will be deleted.
then i edit the wall family... and my problem has been solved.

thanks Pijpiwo...

When creating a void extrusion, you need to use cut tool to cut the object before you exit the sketch mode.

Other option should be to edit the profile of the wall.

I agree. The view Jamal posted with the angled wall cuts is very easily accomplished using edit profile. Generic modeling and cut geometry will also work, but are much more complicated to implement.

As PijPiwo points out, using a void in cut geometry, the void must be applied during the edit session. If not, you get exactly the error Jamal got, which says that the void was drawn but not used. It is not enough to have the void present. It has to be applied. That is one of the fine points of Revit that new users often overlook.

Use edit profile!
